Speciman Labeling
Grandview Medical Center laboratory desires to give all our patients the best and most accurate service possible. One standard for accomplishing this goal is to have all specimens for laboratory procedures properly labeled.
All specimens for laboratory procedures must be labeled with the following information:
- Full name (first and last)
- Date of Birth
- Time of collection
- Date of collection
- Initials of the collector
This information should be on the requisition also.
In pursuit of our goal for excellent service, Grandview Medical Center will no longer accept specimens for laboratory procedures that are not labeled with the above information.
