CT Scan
The Hi Speed CT technology allows for 3D image reconstruction which reduces radiation exposure, exam time and provides improved imaging capabilities. For more information on CT Scanning call 423-837-3391.

Laparoscopy
During laparoscopic surgery, a laparoscope is passed through a small incision in the abdominal wall. Fitted with grasping and cutting tools, laparoscopic procedures can often be done on an outpatient basis.

Lithotripsy
Lithotripsy, a minimally invasive procedure, uses high-pressure shock waves to fragment kidney stones into sand-like particles. Lithotripsy is conducted with minimal anesthesia and reduces the need for ancillary procedures, making lithotripsy an excellent alternative to surgery.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
MRI is a painless alternative to X-rays. With a large magnet, radiowaves and a computer, your body is scanned to provide very detailed pictures of areas that cannot be viewed on conventional X-rays. MRI exams make it possible for physicians to examine certain types of tissue and obtain important information that will help them in the diagnosis of disease, bone and joint abnormalities and a multitude of other possibilities. For more information on MRI call 423-837-3391.

Mammography (ACR Accredited)
Mammograms are low energy X-rays of the breast that are used to screen apparently normal breasts for cancer. Early detection of breast cancer is known to save lives. Yearly mammograms are recommended for women 40 and over, though screening schedules should be determined by your physician. For more information on Mammography call 423-837-3391.

Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimal invasive surgery is an operative procedure performed to result in the smallest possible incision or no incision at all; includes laparoscopic, laparoscopically assisted, thoracoscopic and endoscopic surgical procedures.

Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear medicine is a branch of medical imaging that uses the nuclear properties of matter in diagnosis and therapy. Radioactive substances are administered to patients and the radiation emitted is measured. For more information on Nuclear Medicine call 423-837-3391.

Ultrasound
Our Imaging Services offers a full range of ultrasound services that includes cardiac, obstetrical and gynecologic, vascular, abdominal and breast imaging. For more information on Ultrasound technology call 423-837-3391.
