Volunteer Opportunities
At Grandview Medical Center, our volunteers play a vital and important role in the healing process of our patients. These special people freely offer their time to help others. They provide many extra services that allow our staff to focus on patient care.

What does a Volunteer do?
Volunteers at Grandview serve as providers of the first smiling faces and friendly voices patients, their families and guests see when they enter the hospital. They also assist with directing visitors to patient rooms, provide directions throughout the hospital, delivery of flowers and cards and other functions within the hospital that make it a more pleasant and nurturing healing environment.

What are the benefits of being a volunteer?
Volunteering at Grandview Medical Center allows socialization and interaction with others, a chance to make differences in lives, meet new friends – and sometimes old friends – and become part of a special team of men and women dedicated to helping others. Also, all volunteers are treated to a free meal from our dining room on the days they work as appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
